Great Northern Diver enticed by fish fry

A Great Northern Diver is taking full advantage of the available fish fry at Alton Water and sharing its catch with the local cormorants and gulls. Seen mainly opposite the Sailing Centre it is however quite mobile dependent upon the whereabouts of its prey and the activities of the Sailing Centre. It appears to be quite tame and has frequently been seen close to the bank paying little attention to the anglers and other visitors.
