Hi, I’m Simon Waters and I love wildlife. I have lived all of my life in the beautiful county of Suffolk. Recently retired after working for over 20 years as Site Manager and, later, Head Warden at Alton Water, (Suffolk’s largest area of inland water), I am now working harder than ever at helping people make better connections with their surrounding wildlife. My love of nature and my developing interest in wildlife photography has lead me to develop a variety of hides that offer unique opportunities to watch, study and photograph wildlife in their natural habitat in relative comfort. This website explains how you can get closer to nature, improve your photography and share your experiences with everyone. Watching wildlife is not only an immensely pleasurable experience but plays a vital role in promoting greater understanding of the natural world and thereby promoting sound conservational management – so essential if we are to protect and continue to enjoy the benefits that wildlife brings to all of our lives. I hope you find something of interest.
I look forwards to seeing more of your photos.
